This year my responsibility that I was chosen for was librarian. I was really pleased because for so long I have wanted to be a librarian because I love books and the job seemed quite fun. Every Wednesday lunch I'm rostered on with Catherine, Grace and Abby. After we shelf the books we have heaps of time to do librarian activities. There are heaps of task things that we have to do and we work our way through the four levels (bronze, silver, gold and platinum). It is really fun because you complete lots of things because you want to reach a higher level and it teaches you about becoming a good librarian as well. At the moment I'm on the gold level and Abby, Grace and I are planning on doing a book display on David Walliams books in the library. Some other tasks that we have to do include recommending books, tidying the library and taking book quizzes. This week I am excited because we are doing a library activity and I've never helped out at one of those before.
