Nairnville sessions

Every Thursday we go down to nairnville rec for a sports session.


At the start of the term we did gymnastics and learned different routines for bar and floor but since then we have also done rippa rugby and football.


I didn't think that I would enjoy the sports that much but I was relieved to find that we were doing rippa rugby because I have done that before and football wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.


I have learnt lots of skills and have put myself out of my comfort zone because this may sound easy to some people but at the start of these nairnville sessions I couldn't do a forwards roll or flip things on the bar and by the end of the gym sessions I could do a forward roll, a front flip thing on the bar and a back one too by running up the wall.


I have learnt more about passing the ball in rugby and football and really enjoy the games that we play like 10 passes.
