Memories

A really good memory that I have is when my family went to ohakune and it started snowing. We woke up in the cold morning and mum and dad jokingly said "I wonder if its snowed?" My sister Gemma checked out the window and said "I can't see because it's all white!" I looked out the window and started laughing "That's snow Gemma!" Hurrying back to our room we put on heaps of layers of clothes including six pairs of socks! Running outside we made a snowman, an igloo and found some big rubbish bags to slide down the hill on and later after breakfast we hired an actual toboggan and set off driving up the mountain. It was so busy so unfortunately we couldn't get up but we drove until we found some more smaller hills to ride down. To this day we have photos and videos at home of us on the toboggan and playing in the snow to remind us of this trip.
