Sports tournament!

Yay! On Wednesday we get to miss a day of work to participate in the Regional sportsfest. I chose to play netball and we have a really good team! We're hopefully going to have a really fun day! Judging by the teams we're playing, the tournament looks like it's going to be really tough but hopefully everyone will keep fighting and really enjoys themselves. If we play our best and with good sportsmanship I'm sure that it will be a very successful day!

Now that the tournament is over I can add more to this post.
In the morning I found out that Catherine and Charlotte were away and couldn't play for us so instead Grace T got too. We also found out that our umpire was Aimee who went to our school last year and she really nice.We played at a really good location at the Hataitai courts. That's where we will be playing netball next year in college. It was really sunny up until the end of the day and I was glad that it didn't get cancelled like the year 5/6 sportsfest did. In total we played 5 20min games and lost them all but one. It was quite a different experience because we were playing teams from other places which we usually don't play and it showed us that we're not quite as good as we thought but that will help to push us in college netball next year. Overall it was a great day and everything went really well except the fact that we got back to school late. I'm disappointed that I won't ever get to take part in this again!
